This past weekend, the streets of Market Drayton were filled with energy, sunshine, and a powerful sense of community as runners, supporters, and families came together for the Market Drayton 10K 2025 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Among the many inspirational moments of the day was the sight of Henry proudly wearing the charity’s shirt and medal, walking hand in hand with his sister Etti, perhaps the youngest supporter of the cause! The quiet strength of that moment captured what this event is all about: Putting the effort in, showing up, supporting each other, no matter your age or pace.
The 10K course wove through the charming streets of Market Drayton, cheered on by enthusiastic locals and volunteers. From seasoned runners chasing personal bests to families strolling in solidarity, every participant played a role in raising vital funds for Macmillan, which provides critical care and support for people living with cancer.
Macmillan’s mission is one of compassion, strength, and hope—and this event reflected that beautifully.
